I watched an American record broken today. A guy named Joey Chestnut ate fifty (50) hotdogs in twelve minutes. The world record is 53 1/2, so he was THAT CLOSE! It was disgusting.

My friend Doug managed 10 dogs in the twelve minutes. We were making a lot of noise for him anyway. I think he actually tied for fourth. Maybe fifth. And, we drank beer at Nine Fine afterwards. All in all, a pretty hollerific day.

It started with a little question from one person. Then another. Then, another. And now, it's full on peer pressure to join Myspace. And you know what? It's working. Every day, I come a little closer to signing up at that cursed site. I admit, there are people I miss a lot that I would probably communicate with more on "the addiction", as it was described to me. Still, I am reluctant. If I do join, everyone that reads this (anyone?) better leave me a comment.
