So I am coming up on the two year anniversary of blogging my innermost stuipd thoughts. (For the record, I realize I typoed the word 'stupid' but that's pretty funny, so I leave it alone.) I am also coming up on another damn birthday, and while I could go all introspective... I've changed but I am the same... I am the same while being different... blah blah blah (Bob Loblaw), I won't. I will say that I finally learned to play the bridge of Too Much on guitar, after only nine years. Really easy.

Can you believe DMB's album Crash has been out for almost a decade? You listen to Crash and then you listen to Stand Up and wonder what happened. I will say, their summer tour was incredible.

The other night, as I walked to the mailroom, hardly breathing as I wondered if the latest issue of Outside Magazine had arrived, I caught scent of someone frying tacos. The smell, along with the slight breeze and the coolness of fall took me back about 15-16 years. Just a quick flash of memory. Me, playing outside, in the cool darkness of an October evening, my grandmother in the kitchen making tacos. It was such a comforting little remembrance. I shan't bore you with the details, as I am amazed you are even still reading, but I thought I'd let you in on the fact that I do like fall evenings.

I need cake.
