I have been sitting here staring at this screen for about ten minutes, thinking about what to write. The plan had been to blog about Red Rock, how nice it was to go hiking there again, finally, after more than a year, and to rant about the assmongers that leave their trash behind, but I don't feel like it. So I was staring, trying to think of something important, or at least vaguely interesting to write about. All I can think about for some reason is that disc 2 of the 7.24.03 DMB show in Phoenix is coming up as disc 1 in my player.
I am going to see DMB in August. Phoenix, again. On one hand, I would have liked to see them in a different venue for a change, maybe LA or The Gorge in Washington. On the other, I like Phoenix, Shayna and I are looking forward to the road trip, and my parents are meeting us there to see the show, too. How cool is that? I am actually excited about seeing a concert with my parents. Hoping the new song, American Baby, is a little more energetic by that time. New album will be out by then, so maybe a bunch of new songs will be in rotation.
Anthony was here a couple of weeks ago. He says Hi to all you lovely people in Bloglandville.
Ahh, beer. How I love thee.
CD of the moment is
In Between Dreams by Jack Johnson. Go buy it. Can't beat a laid back, Hawaiian folk rock kinda thing. And Banana Pancakes is so much damn fun to play on the gee-tar.
And that is where I am going to end it, because I was about to delete all this rambling nonsense, but maybe, just maybe, someone out there can waste a little of there day reading my thoughts.
Lates.
Hello, you beautiful people!
HAHAHAH!!!! Redirect this, biotch. "Security" settings my balls.
On the tamer side, I had things to write about, but since I fiddled with my computer, couldn't get onto blogger, and am an idiot that took 5 days to figure out what I initally did... I forgot what this run-on sentence was about. Nevermind.
I think I want to write a Geekdom Saturday blog. About something. Sometime in the future.
