Tonight was going to be blogging night. I haven't written about anything for too long, and tonight was going to be the profound, soul searching kind of blog that all you other beautiful people seem to come up with every other day. Well, for the most part.
But I talked to my friend Christian for a half an hour, and that cut into blogging time.
Then I talked to my mom for 20 minutes or so, and that cut into blogging time.
Then I looked around the internet for the guitar chords to Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne, and YUP!!! That took up blogging time.
So finally, here I sit and nothing was coming out. At least, nothing profound. Blah.
I am leaving Vegas for New Mexico on Thursday, and I will return the Wednesday. Visiting the parents. Miss you people. We need to bowl.
Deanne: A round of applause just for being you, doll.
My tiny rubber rat Ralph says goodnight to all.
Everyone else blogged today, and peer pressure is cool.
Yeah, a new year. I started it off by getting sick. It was just "the common cold" but I hate feeling like this. Brian said it was a good way to start the year, because now I won't get sick again until 2005. The worst part is over, really, now it's just the runny nose and getting over the chapped nose and upper lip from blowing so much. Bit of a cough, too. Lotsa snot.
Unlike Chuddy, I do have a few New Years Resolutions. One is to work out and eat healthier. That may happen, as I am friends with a guy that used to be a personal trainer at the Venetian, and if I ask he'll probably help me out for a nominal charge. The other is to actually start college. I can't stand the idea of having to work in fucking retail for the rest of my life. Plus, I just miss learning. Calculus, oooohhhhh.
There is one more that I also made last year, and it didn't happen. That is to BASE jump off Mandalay Bay. But first I need to take sky-diving lessons and make a number of jumps, and that will cost some good money. Then there is the fact that BASE jumping is pretty dangerous, and off Mandalay it would be illegal, as well. But you know what? It would be hellafun. Maybe I will aim to be the first to jump Wynn Las Vegas.
Music of the moment is actually Eminem. I used to hate him, hate rap, but lately I have been listening to a lot of different kinds of tunes. I still can't stand most rap, but Em is pretty damn clever and catchy, despite the homophobic, mysogynistic, violent lyrics. I think it's all show.
Al-ca-traz
I pulled my lower stomach muscles today, and, uh... ow. I pulled something below my stomach last night, and uh.... hehee.
Well, music has moved on to DMB. "Gonna take what I can get I'm the monkey man with the great, great monkey plan..." That says it all, eh?
